Ah Tahini, you creamy, buttery, smooth mistress. You’re the one I keep on the side so almond butter doesn’t get jealous. I keep you in the fridge, nice and cool, and sneak you out to spread on toast, mix into sauces, make into dips and add to bliss balls.
Tahini adds a glorious dimension to your dishes; and due to its bold flavour, only a small amount is needed. Intense, nutty, and mouth-coating, tahini is:
- Rich in calcium, and contains more than dairy
- High in vitamin B, necessary for energy and brain function
- High in vitamin E; good for heart health and skin texture
- Rich in magnesium, and iron
